An Athlete Like Few Others
Long before he founded Mohinder Sports, Mohinder Gill was one of the most decorated field hockey athletes in the world. A five-time NCAA Champion at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, he was ranked #1 in the world throughout the 1970s and competed on the international stage at the 1972 Munich Olympics. In 1970, the President of India honored him with the Arjuna Award, the country's highest sporting honor, naming him Sportsman of the Year. In 1993, Cal Poly inducted him into their Athletics Hall of Fame, where his legacy stands alongside the greatest athletes the university has ever produced.

Born in Turlock, 1976
After his athletic career, Mohinder saw a gap that no one else was filling. Field hockey players in the United States deserved equipment built to the same standard he had competed with internationally. In 1976, he founded Mohinder Sports in Turlock, California. What started as one athlete's mission to bring world-class gear to American players has grown into a brand trusted by schools, clubs, and programs across the country for five decades.

Fifty years later, the mission is unchanged.
